Well I have not been doing a good job with updates. Lots has happened. On August 15, 2009 our daughter Tracie married Nathan Wiersma. It was an amazing wedding. They now live in a townhouse in Grand Rapids where Tracie is finishing up a Music in Worship and Vocal Performance degree at Calvin College. Nathan is majoring in Enviromental Science with a Geology focus and still several more years at Calvin. Tracie just began a job as the Worship Director at Princeton CRC in Grand Rapids. I know she will be great. Nathan works at the rock climbing wall at Calvin.

Stephanie and Kevin moved from California to Michigan in September. Stephie is working nights as a pediatric nurse at DeVos Children's Hospital. Kevin is substitute teaching and searching for regular employment. They recently bought a house in Ionia (an hour away from us - but it's better than California!) They are expecting their first baby in June so we will soon be grandparents.

Derek is in 9th grade at Holland Christian and is also on the robotics team. He appears to have some strengths in inventing.

It is January so the horse business is slow - but that will change soon enough.

In case you are wondering why there is nothing new here...it's breeding season and I am very busy! I'll put a rare post on during the summer but will be more regular again by fall.

Not much new

Well Kevin had a very funny post but we just don't have much new here. It's still cold and snowy. Amy claims she doesn't want to go out again until spring. Derek is actually sick of skiing so not going to ski club this weekend. He has been busy getting ready for science olympiad in a few weeks. Tracie leaves for California on Friday. Officially to do promotion work for Calvin College but it just so happens she'll be in the same town as Stephanie and Kevin so guess who she gets to see! Lucky girl!!!!!!!
