Saturday, March 15 Derek competed for his school with 14 other kids in Science Olympiad. He competed in Mystery Architech, Trajectory and Robocross. He placed 4th in both Trajectory and Robocross (out of 21). It was a long day for him...he had to get up at 5:15 am to be at school by 6:15 am. But is was great to be at the awards ceremony at the end of the day and have Derek's events announced as winners!
